ICS is now making available the following types of order packaging methods. Please be advised this is to benefit you, the customer. By signing this form you will be exempt from being charged insurance on your shipment when choosing second and third class service, or when using your account, or your customers account to ship on. Please specify type of service required, when placing an order.
Definition of Services:
First Class: ICS will ship your order in Master Cartons (re-boxing). Insurance will be charged 35 cents per hundred dollars when shipping UPS domestic service. When shipping with all other common carriers insurance will be charged 50 cents per hundred dollars for domestic service. This will be FOB shipping point. Second Class: ICS will ship your order in Master Cartons (re-boxing). No insurance will be charged on the shipment. This will be FOB shipping point. Third Class: ICS will ship your order without re-boxing product. No insurance will be charged on the shipment. This will be FOB shipping point.
FOB: This means the title of property passes to the buyer, when product is transferred to any common carrier.
