solutions today announced that longtime customer Acosta has deployed Visual
Networks’ application performance management software at its branch offices.
The software modules,
Select AppFlows™ and
Select AppSummary™, are components of the company’s flagship
Visual UpTime® Select™ offering, which provides in-depth,
real-time and historical information that enables enterprises to
intelligently manage network availability across the entire enterprise.
Acosta, with over 11,000 associates in seventy-plus locations, is
headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida. The company is a leader in sales and
marketing solutions, providing services to over 1,300 North American
manufacturers of consumer products.
As Acosta began to deploy more Web-based applications, which were strategic
components of its to day-to-day operations, having detailed information
about the applications on its network became increasingly important. For
