Verso Launches New Channel Partner Program

Program Enhances Reseller Sales and Marketing activities for Verso Offerings.

ATLANTA, GA – (September 6, 2006) - Verso Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: VRSO), a global provider of next generation network solutions, announced today the North American launch of the Certified Channel Partner Program, a revenue-based strategic channel offering aimed at strengthening and enhancing resellers’ sales and promotion activities for Verso products and solutions. 

The program is designed for North American resellers who market Verso solutions and technologies or those who recommend products and services from the Verso portfolio. Verso partners include value-added resellers and system integrators.   The program, which will soon be rolled out on a worldwide basis, provides certified partners with sales and marketing programs, including Co-Operative marketing, volume incentive rebates, spiffs, pre and post sales support, and training.  The program fosters channel collaboration and partnership, brand awareness and supports sales momentum and market differentiation for the Verso solutions offerings.  

The Verso Certified Channel Partner Program is based on three tiers: Silver, Gold and Platinum.  Certification requires an executed partnership contract aligned to an annual revenue commitment.  The execution of the contract links annual revenue to a tier-based program, with program benefits at each tier scaling from one level to the next. 

“The fully integrated program will support mutual revenue growth, while at the same time reducing operating costs,” said Vickie Flynt Gentle, director of channel sales, Verso Technologies.  “Verso is supplying partners with a strategic framework which includes dedicated channel support, buying discounts, training and other resources to effectively sell, market and support Verso solutions.  Our goal is to not only bring cutting edge solutions to market but, also to have channel programs that enhance our products and differentiate our organization,” added Flynt.

demonstrates our commitment to our partners’ success,” said Pedrosa.

Florida-based Interlink Communications Systems (ICS), the longstanding master distributor of Verilink products, trained and certified on Verso products, will serve as Master Distributor for the Verso NetPerformer®, NetSpective®, NetAuditor® and TeleMate® products in addition to all the Verilink products.

“We have a long history and successful track record acting as Verilink’s master distributor and are well positioned and experienced to represent Verso’s enterprise solutions throughout North America,” said Orin Fatolitis, vice president of business development and marketing, ICS.  “Our North American channel includes approximately 4,500 resellers who will now have access to sell and market Verso’s NetSpective, NetAuditor and TeleMate solutions within the framework and benefits of the newly launched Channel Partner Program,” he added.

Additional members include Integrated Communications (iCOMM), a reseller of network and carrier equipment, and NetDigital, a reseller of networking products from companies including MetaSwitch and Lucent.  Both leaders in servicing the Southeast region of the U.S., the two have joined the program at the Gold level.
